An accomplished hospitality executive and real estate developer, Vinay Rama brings nearly two decades of experience to his position as the founder and CEO of Mandala Holdings, LLC, a commercial real estate development firm with interests in the hospitality industry. In this leadership role, Vinay Rama supervises all day to day operations of the company, including due diligence, employee management, and vendor relationships. Additionally, he leads all investment activities.

Vinay Rama holds a bachelor’s degree from the Cornell University School of Hotel Administration. Prior to founding Mandala Holdings, he held a number of leadership positions in the hospitality industry, including serving as vice president of Hodges Ward Elliott, a member of the sales and marketing department of Rosen Hotels and Resorts, and a management intern with Courtyard by Marriott. He began his career in the industry as a housekeeper with a Holiday Inn in India.

An active member of the field, Mr. Rama belongs frequently lectures at industry events. Among other honors, he received the 2011 Young Entrepreneur Award from the Indian Chamber of Commerce. His hotels have also won awards from renowned brands such as Marriott and IHG.
